Troop 263’s Chartered Organization is New Covenant Church of Christ in Queens Village, New York. The troop is governed by the guidelines of the Boy Scouts of America. Is a member of the Founders District in the Greater New York Councils.
Mission Statement
Troop 263 exists so trained leaders can provide a well-rounded scouting program which will equip boys to become men and leaders in their home, community and the world. For the glory of God!
Vision Statement
Our vision for Pack/Troop 263 is for more men of character to become leaders and to have more parental involvement. We also want to see scouting make more of a positive impact on our community at large. We see ourselves getting larger than we can imagine.

Greater New York Councils
The Greater New York Councils (GNYC) is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America that serves the New York City area. As a council GNYC has a unique structure in that it is sub-divided into boroughs, each led by a borough executive. Boroughs are then divided into districts. The Council has helped over five million young people become “Prepared. For Life.” since its inception in the 1920s.
