Merit Badge Clinic – Emergency Preparedness
This clinic will afford scouts the opportunity to complete the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge.
Date: Saturday, November 9, 2019 and Saturday, November 23, 2019
Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Location: Cambria Heights Library, 218-13 Linden Blvd, Cambria Heights, NY 11411, Teen Room, Lower Level
In order to participate:
- Scouts must have earned the First Aid Merit Badge.
- Blue Cards must be signed by the scoutmaster
Session #1: Saturday, November 9th @ 10 a.m. – Group session
Scouts will work together to complete requirements
How to prepare:

- Print out the Emergency-Preparedness Worksheet
- Read the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge Pamphlet
- Wear Class A uniform.

Session #2: Saturday, November 23rd @ 10 – Merit Badge Counselor sign off
Scouts should come prepared to have all requirements signed off.
How to prepare:

- All requirements should be completed by this time either in Session #1 or on your own
- Attend the workshop with the completed worksheet and all the relevant documentation
- Wear the complete Class A uniform.

The goal at the end of these two sessions is for the scout to complete all the requirements and earn the badge. This can be achieved if the scout;
- Can discuss, describe, show and demonstrate all the requirements
- Brings the completed Emergency-Preparedness worksheet and Blue Card
- Brings a hard copy of any and all documents, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, checklists required
- Brings any kits/packs or provides images or videos of the same
- Supplies images or videos of any activities required for this badge
